Russia getting people home from Eqypt most rapidly

Regular flights to Russia and the UK have been canceled from Red Sea Resort Sharm el-Sheikh, due to the Russian passenger flight crash. Many flights have been suspended up until November 23. Airlines are flying rescue flights from Sharm el-Sheikh, but at low numbers. UK airlines from Europe are operating only 10 to 11 passenger flights a day, but Russian airlines are operating 20-25 flight a day. The airport is operating at maximum capacity, with 4300 passengers per hour.

 U.S. News Best Cruise Line rankings

U.S. News & World Report released its choices for 2016 Best Cruise Lines rankings, which compare the top 15 cruise lines across six categories. For the third year in a row, Disney Cruise Line is the No. 1 Best Cruise Line for Families and the No. 1 Best Cruise Line in the Caribbean. Crystal Cruises reclaims the top spot on the Best Cruise Lines for Romance list and continues its reign as the No. 1 Best Luxury Cruise Line. Royal Caribbean International remains the No. 1 Best Cruise Line for the Money for the third year in a row.

New rail service in Florida in 2017

A privately owned and operated passenger rail service win begin in Florida mid-2017. All Aboard Florida will run a travel service called the Brightline, connecting Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando.

A new Colossus of Rhodes?

The Colossus of Rhodes was a Wonder of the World until an earthquake in 226 b.c.e. crumbled it. Greece is now considering to recreate the giant statue in an effort to boost tourism. The new Helios would be nearly four times the height of the original, and stand at 122 meters tall. The project is estimated to cost 240-260 million euros (US$264-286) and include a library, museum, lighthouse and cultural center.

Hotel — in the Seine River!

There are currently plans underway to build a hotel right in the Seine River. The hotel will be constructed by French boutique chain Elegance and Citysurfing, and will be called Off-Paris Seine. The hotel will lie centrally next to the Charles de Gaulle Bridge, between the fifth and 11th arrondissements.
